Happy 145th Birthday, Canada!

"A Mari usque ad Mare"  - "From sea to sea".  Today we tend to say "From sea to sea to sea". Might be time to update the ol' Coat of Arms. Some representation of the aboriginal nations would be nice.

This post will appear automagically. When it posts, I'll be in Officer's Square (you may even see me on the webcam), listening to music with my publicly-funded cochlear implant, and eating birthday cake at "Canada's Biggest Block Party".

We've got our problems, but on the whole, not a bad little country at all. Not bad at all.
