The poor dog appears to be catatonic.
Most dogs do don't they? I know mine ranges from catatonic to "two year old on a sugar rush" with no in between.
Aw. I think he looks more like he finds this rejection catastrophic.
what he looks like to me is..."jebus...there's a freakin' cat! an the laws o' my religion don't allow me to bust through the door and shake him up good!!"
photos with doors always speak to me and this one is particularly engaging.
prejudiced cat person, i imagine she (of course) is being gracious to the new guy in the neighborhood.

Naomi, if one is going to be prejudiced, being prejudiced in favour of cats is the very finest kind of prejudiced one can be. And I agree... she is being extraordinarily patient. Especially for a cat - a species not known to suffer fools gladly...
