Has there ever been a US Presidential campaign that better lends itself to biting commentary? I don't think so, not at least in my memory, and I am gleeful that so much of that commentary has been of this level of synthesis of humor and grit.
And that will all be very warm and wonderful if it turns out the way it absolutely has to turn out.
Y'know, there are people who think the fact that McCain married a hot rich blonde with a nearly limitless supply of beer speaks very well of his judgment. Just sayin' . . .
