The roof's slope over the door is going the wrong way for that, Mike.
Mmm .. true dat. Where I'm living now, snow coming off the roof will not only block my door but flatten my car. Oh well -- It's July. In the words of K.S. O'Hara, I'll think about that another day!
It can be a constant battle in the winter to keep snow off that porch roof. So far it's never slid off and damaged the car - but last winter it took off two windowboxes that were under the side windows.
