El regreso

Our seventh trip.

This photo was taken in Santa Cruz del Norte. Yes, this was our seventh trip, but this time we saw things we had never seen before, and really got a glimpse of the real lives of Cubans. Unfortunately I came back to a very intense work situation that will eat up pretty much all of my time, including evenings, for the next several days - but much more to come later.

SEVEN times? I must have lost count -- what a great thing for you and husband to be able to do. I'm looking forward to accounts! (Not to be confused with lost counts -- which could have been avoided, of course, if Counts had GPS as a perk of their aristocracy.)

Yep - seven!

Holguin
Jibacoa
Guardalavaca
Cayo Largo
Cayo Santa Maria (the trip where I sprained my ankle)
Cayo Santa Maria (the trip where I didn't)
Jibacoa

And we're already planning number 8!

Random Cuban moment on this trip: in the back of a cab, after the news (in Spanish of course), we were treated to "I've Got You Under My Skin" by Frank Sinatra. Thought maybe we'd time-traveled for a minute there.

Still finishing up my contract work but accounts, lost Counts, and no-accounts coming up later.
