Where's that "like" button? Oh, there it is. *click*
I think this kitten is more Oscar-worthy than the movie, Sherwood...
The reviews have been less than wonderful (for the movie, that is, not the kitten.) Have you actually paid cash money to see it?
I have not (we've been driven away from the actual movie theatres years ago) but I am an avid reader of reviews to plan what to catch later on The Movie Network, HBO etc and what I *must* get on DVD. You're right - reviews for EL&IC have been lukewarm, and about all the same things. That suggests to me they know whereof they speak.
Extremely Loud and incredibly close is the kind of movie that you would like to punch on the nose really as I too believe that it had a poor story line and poor script execution and almost no thrill. People who had invested some money in theaters, my best wishes are with them for future.
"the kind of movie that you would like to punch on the nose". Simply beautiful.
Sorry I disagree with you all, I felt that the film took a look at a tragic thing through the eyes of a child with Aspergers Disease. Yes, behavior may be annoying to people who don't know anyone with Autism but it doesn't mean that the kid acted it wrong. I think he played it perfectly.
