Texas Skateboarder Stops Christian Extremist From Burning The Qur’an.
My estimation of both Texans and skateboarders has just risen significantly.

Dude, you have no Qur’an is now my favorite set of five words.
And that's no mean feat. It supplants "The Giants win the pennant!" from Russ Hodges in 1951.
Love the comments, too. I want to think that decent people are starting to realize they have to be the ones to stand up against the hate, that nobody is going to do it for them.
Sherwood: Wow. Quite an accomplishment to supplant Hodges. But I think he deserves it. "Dude, you have no Qu'ran" is now my favourite five words too.
Mike: It feels like it might be reaching a bit of a critical mass, what with the pro-Islamic Center rally that took place on September 11 (to counter the anti-Islamic Center rally), no? I hope so, anyway...
Ronnie, The PRO-Islamic Center rally on 9/11?? That is news to me (which is not news....). Did they write about this in Canada? Newspaper? TV? Radio? Or was the rally actually IN Canada? I didn't see or hear anything about this down here. Eh?
Mary Ellen, CNN reported on it. There were two rallies separated by a block - one against, one in support of the center. A CBS story is here but you can find more by googling "pro Islamic Center rally September 11".
I should clarify that both rallies took place in NYC. CNN reported that the pro rally was a bit smaller than the anti; the CBS story I linked to said it was bigger.

I've been looking for that to happen as well.
