Happy Yanksgiving!

Happy Yanksgiving to all my Yankee friends!

We all give thanks for a spirit of change and optimism in America this year.

It ain't going to be perfect. But it's got potential!

Cheers!

I'm here!

I'm still here, folks. Just busier than a one-armed paperhanger with a bad case of hives. The Legislature opened for its sitting this week, which means much work for both Husband and I.

However, we found time to take the cats for SPCA pet photos with Santa, among a thousand and one other things, so the grand result is coming.

Stay tuned, as they say.

Congratulations, America.

You did it.

Chose change.

Chose hope.

The world's awful proud of you right now.

And now - now the hard work begins.

Good luck. We're in this with you.

For the first time in awhile, we're all pulling in the same direction.

Yes, we can. Sí, se puede. Oui, on peut.

OUI, on peut!!

Merci beaucoup to CBC Radio show "C'est la vie", which turned me on today to this Louisiana Cajun band stumping for Barack Obama with the battle cry "Oui, on peut!" (Yes, we can! Sí, se puede! ) Very cool to hear Senator O's call for change in my langue seconde.

A little Hallowe'en

"Monster" cupcakes at a bakery & deli close to work, yesterday (Hallowe'en). Cute!
