How to eat a banana like a monkey

I stole this from Xtreme English's blog, (which also has a very funny unrelated banana story), but I have to pass it on. Because it's just full of win! and awesome!

Now, I've never had the traumatic stem-end banana-opening experiences cited by the guy in the video - he reminds me of the people in the infomercials who are totally! incompetent! at wrapping food in plastic wrap (spill!), or saving leftovers in traditional containers (mess!), or using old-fashioned measuring cups (spilly mess!) - but I have to admit, this new technique borrowed from our primate brothers is, on the whole, pretty darn cool.

Wow! I never knew that the non-stem end of a banana was so fissiparous!

My son showed me this a few weeks ago. I suspect it means that somewhere, about four months ago, one of those infinite monkeys finally typed something coherent onto the Internets and it just spread.

Ironically, he obviously did it on his lunch break.

Sherwood - way to work the word of the day into your post. Brian will be positively green with envy. Also, I vote for Mary Xllen.

Mike - it's fascinating how internet memes hit critical mass. It's equally fascinating watching advertising and promotional hacks try to replicate it for profit, and fail miserably.

Xtreme - Mojo can has registered at wings and paws. Also, the post has been corrected to the Xth degree.
